The cottage was originally an old garage. It was completely redesigned to become a true outbuilding in a quiet garden setting. The "fisherman's hut" theme very quickly became our inspiration for the decoration of this place, which we wanted to be close to nature, in terms of colors, materials and decoration. Sheltered by the pergola, you can enjoy your meals in peace and quiet on your own private terrace overlooking the pool.
Our approach
Maison Lacase is a change of life for our entire family. After 10 months of work to restore it to all its former splendor, combined with comfort and contemporary design, Maison Lacase wants to be resolutely eco-responsible, both in terms of supply and management of the work or simply in everyday life.

What do our Guests think?
We had a perfect time at the Chambre d'Hôtes Maison Lacase. The hosts contacted us already some days before to clarify if we have any special requirements, eg. as of allergies, special pillow and to find out what we like to eat at the table d'Hôtes. We've had the room in the garden next to the nice pool. For our car we found easily a parking lot at the parking area close by. The electrical bikes could be stored and charged in a locked room at the house. Especially we like to mention the extraordinary table d'Hôtes and breakfast. Outstanding ...
We are very happy that we chose to stay at Maison Lacase during our time in Saint-Malo. There is free parking available nearby which was a factor in chosing this place. The building is charming and our room very comfortable but it's Frederique and Philippe who made our stay outstanding. The warm welcome and delicious food served each day exceeded our expectations. What a lovely holiday we had at Frederique and Philippe's Maison Lacaze in Saint-Malo ! La Maison Lacaze is a place full of character, about twenty minutes from intra-muros and in the opposite direction from the beautiful beach at Tour Solidor in Saint-Servan, which gives it the advantage of being close to tourist attractions but at the same time having the peace and tranquility of a quiet street. Fantastic hosts who helps in all cases, lovely people. Frédérique can provide you with good wines and with a tasteful dinner on demand. The room we had was just perfect, Moden in an old place. Don’t forget the pool which is not often provided in this area.
My partner and I recently stayed at this beautiful place for a couple of nights, and it was a truly refreshing experience. We had a room overlooking the garden and the pool, which offered a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after exploring the bustling areas of St. Malo.
