The cottage was originally an old garage. It was completely redesigned to become a true outbuilding in a quiet garden setting. The "fisherman's hut" theme very quickly became our inspiration for the decoration of this place, which we wanted to be close to nature, in terms of colors, materials and decoration. Sheltered by the pergola, you can enjoy your meals in peace and quiet on your own private terrace overlooking the pool.
Our approach
Maison Lacase is a change of life for our entire family. After 10 months of work to restore it to all its former splendor, combined with comfort and contemporary design, Maison Lacase wants to be resolutely eco-responsible, both in terms of supply and management of the work or simply in everyday life.

My partner and I recently stayed at this beautiful place for a couple of nights, and it was a truly refreshing experience. We had a room overlooking the garden and the pool, which offered a serene and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after exploring the bustling areas of St. Malo.
The highlight of our stay was the breakfast. It exceeded our expectations with its incredible variety and quality of local produce. Instead of the typical French croissant and jam, we enjoyed a delightful selection of delicious and healthy options.

Frédérique and Philippe’s place is just first-class and fantastic! Our room had a great bed with high-quality bed linens and very soft towels (better than some 5* hotels we experienced). The room had a garden view and was very quiet. First class sleep was a natural outcome. What was jaw-dropping, though, was the breakfast. A wonderful property in St Malo where Frederique and her partner Philipe do their utmost to make you feel welcome.
The accommodation is extremely comfortable as are the beautiful grounds which also have a swimming pool.
Breakfast is delightful with lots of home made dishes on offer.
